This website, surveyshell.com, is owned and operated by Indralo Pty Ltd ABN 31 698 343 074 ('we', 'us', 'our'). We take privacy seriously — it is central to what SurveyShell does — and we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles to the extent they apply to us. This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what happens to it.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers your use of this website only. The SurveyShell product — the service that assesses survey journeys for research clients — operates under separate agreements and privacy documentation provided to clients. This website does not collect survey responses or respondent behavioural data.
2. What we collect, and why
Contact form. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, work email address, company name, job title and message you choose to send. Our website function sends this information through Resend to our Google Workspace inbox. We do not save a separate copy in a SurveyShell website database. We use the message to respond to you and retain it as ordinary business correspondence. Resend may retain email data for its standard retention period.
Meeting bookings. If you book a conversation through Calendly, we receive your name, email address, booking details and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information to arrange and conduct the meeting. Calendly adds the booking to our Google Workspace calendar and provides Google Meet details. Calendly’s Privacy Notice and cookie settings apply on its website.
Anti-spam check. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile processes technical browser signals and the requesting IP address to help distinguish genuine visitors from automated submissions. Our website function sends the Turnstile response token and requesting IP address to Cloudflare for verification. We do not use those anti-spam signals for other purposes.
Hosting and security logs. The website is served by Cloudflare. Like almost all website infrastructure, Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site.
Analytics. We use Plausible and Cloudflare Web Analytics, two privacy-focused analytics services, to understand aggregate site usage: pages viewed, approximate country, referral source and similar statistics. Neither uses cookies or builds individual visitor profiles, and we do not receive any personally identifying analytics data.
3. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics runs without cookies. Our infrastructure provider may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to protect the site from abuse.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks. The service providers that process data to run this website and arrange meetings are: Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, anti-spam and analytics), Resend (delivery of contact-form messages to our inbox), Calendly (meeting scheduling), Google Workspace (business email, calendar and Google Meet), and Plausible (aggregate analytics). Some of these providers process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union.
5. How long we keep it
Contact messages, Calendly booking records and associated Google Workspace calendar entries are retained as ordinary business records for as long as we reasonably need them. If you ask us to delete information, we will delete the copies we control unless we need to retain them for legal or record-keeping reasons. Copies held by service providers may remain until their standard retention periods expire.
6. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or lodge a privacy complaint by emailing [email protected]. Please include enough information for us to understand your request or concern. We will acknowledge and investigate a complaint and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
7. Changes to this policy
If our website practices change, we will update this page and its date. Significant changes will be noted clearly.
